This original pattern quilt combines Evening Star blocks with Delectable Mountains and three sawtooth frames. The frames are made more interesting by alternating the fabrics that are used throughout the pieced patterning. The background is a tiny blue print on white. The backing of the quilt is done with solid white and double pink calico Bars. The very good quilting of cable and feathered patterns shows more on the back making this quilt totally reversible. Measurements are 76" x 80". Pennsylvania origin; made 1880's. Condition is excellent.
