Finely pieced and quilted Feathered Stars quilt. Each white block is quilted with a different floral motif.
The plaid of the stars is a most unusual material. In addition to making a wonderful frame, the double diamond border is a clever continuation of the triangle theme of the feathers.
The quilt has been professionally laundered and is in excellent condition. Measurements are 86" square. Maryland origin; made circa 1850.
