Wonderful, imaginative Pots of Flowers quilt in which each element contributes to a full, abstract design. The arcs of the flower stems are repeated in the handles of the baskets. The green leaves of the border are like those in the interior while the rust and yellow border flowers are an entirely new form. Baskets are repeated in two different sizes. The shapes of the pots, leaves and flowers are cleverly placed to create an imaginative design.
Measurements are 94" x 100'. Pennsylvania origin; made in the 1870's. Well quilted with straight lines that are closely placed together. Condition is excellent.
