Folk Art Gate in Form of a Face: Ca. 1920
One of a kind iron gate in the shape of an elongated face. It would be functional as a gate but would also be terrific hung indoors as a piece of outsider art.
The movable earrings are an especially whimsical touch. One spike is missing from the hairdo but all else is intact. Measurements are 62" tall and 24" at the widest point. Found in Virginia.; circa 1920.
