This is a particularly well made version of a traditional Garden Maze Quilt. The center of each maze is quilted with a LeMoyne Star pattern. Corner blocks are created by extending the mazes. The scalloped edge is a nice counterpoint to the hard edges of the Maze pattern. Cable quilting in the border gracefully follows the scallops.The quilt is in excellent, unwashed condition. Measurements are 80" square. Pennsylvania origin; circa 1920's.
