Silver and gold brooch by Maine jeweler, Elizabeth Prior. The combination of metals works well with the three textures, including the finely crimped edge that makes a nice frame. Dark areas are shadows in the photo - not discoloration. Measurements are 1 5/16" square. Made in the 1990's.
