Hand Painted Fabric Map of United States: Circa 1920

1448557

This hand painted map of the United States is surely a one of a kind. It is titled "Early America" with images of iconic American scenes such as a Conestoga wagon and a Native American on horseback. Around the border are names of famous Americans such as Paul Revere and Daniel Boone. The front is linen with a textured cotton backing. Measurements are 15 1/2" x 20". There is a little bit of fraying around some of the edging and a small worn spot where the Carolinas would be. Made circa 1920.
