These are two roll up sewing huswifs used to store thread and needlework tools.

The roll up on top is 3 1 /4 inches wide and 13 inches long. It has 6 pockets, each with a different fabric. The back and the binding are additional fabrics. It is in excellent condition. Probably New England origin; circa 1830. SOLD

The bottom roll up is made of fabrics entirely in shades of brown. The top is hand stitched with six sleeves. The bottom is a pouf pulled together with a string intact. Also from New England; circa 1820-30. Measurements are 4 1/4” x 14”. Price is $495.
