Ocean Waves is always a popular quilt pattern, particularly when done with indigo calico and solid white. This example has nice small pieces with each triangle measuring just over an inch to a side. The white areas are quilted with very small squares.
Sewn to the back is a label that says "Made by Great Grandmother Charlotte Webster Waters". Made circa 1880; excellent condition. Measurements are 72" x 77".
