Gold brooch with a central green agate and surrounded by small circular similar stones. The brooch was made by Ledesma, one of the well known jewelers of Taxco in the mid 20th century. Almost all of their work was in sterling silver rather than gold. It is likely this was a custom made piece.
The brooch measures 1 1/2 inches in diameter. Made of 14 karat gold; circa 1960. Condition is excellent. The light area is a reflection in the photo only. Color of the actual stone is consistent throughout.
