This LeMoyne Stars quilt is made with a glorious combination of richly colored printed materials. The border consists of two different glazed chintz fabrics with flowers; fruit and birds. The Stars are milk and dark brown chocolate colors with one lone indigo corner block.
The quilt is in pristine, unwashed condition. Several of the fabrics in addition to the border are glazed.
It is quilted with straight lines and outlines around the Stars. The backing is a plain white cotton. Measurements are 92" x 97". Vermont origin; circa 1830's.
