Light and Dark Log Cabin quilt done in a combination of solid and printed wool fabrics. The cafe au lait colored background is an unusual tone and works perfectly with the persimmon color solid squares and darker prints. The printed fabrics echo the colors used in the solid blocks. The design is perfectly balanced.
The quilt is in excellent condition. The back is a floral cotton print. Measurements are 86 inches square. Made in the 1870's; Pennsylvania origin.
