Mountain Mist Iris Quilt: Circa 1930's; Pennsylvania

This softly toned Iris quilt is Mountain Mist pattern R that was copyrighted in 1930.
This example is in excellent, unwashed condition. There is a very light smudge near the bottom which one can find only with close examination.
The choice of pastel colors works beautifully together. It's interesting that the light blue flowers are of the same shade while all of the others are done with two colors.
Quilting is done with diagonal lines.
Measurements are 76" x 88'. Pennsylvania origin; made 1930's.
