Never have I seen an anatomically correct handcarved couple such as this. I have seen males but never a pair. The two are each cradled in a wood box that measures 4 1/8" x 1 1/4". He is removable but she is not. While primitive, they are done with considerable detail. Not only does he have a large movable penis but a scrotum as well. She has carved breasts and pubic hair that one may see as heart shape. One can understand why this happy couple have smiling faces. Made circa 1900.
