This early One Patch quilt is made almost entirely with a single, unusual printed fabric. A seven inch length along the border is a very similar print. Both combine floral and geometric designs. The white off blocks are quilted with a variety of wreaths and leaves. The quilt is in excellent condition. It has several very light smudges in the white that are not at all distracting. The fabrics are strong and intact. Measurements are 68" x 70". Pennsylvania origin; made circa 1860. The quilt has a lovely soft palette that would work well either on a bed or folded as an accent piece.
