This One Patch crib quilt is made with a terrific assortment of solid and printed fabrics from the 1870's to about 1890. Many of the prints are "conversationals" with such motifs as riding crops and spurs; anchors; dice; horse and dog heads. The quilt is in immaculate unwashed condition. There is ever so slight oxidation to some of the solid orange blocks. The quilt measures 46" x 50". The construction is actually nine patch blocks but the way they are placed together makes it "read" as a One Patch.
