Pickle Dish quilt pattern is the more complex first cousin of the traditional Double Wedding Ring quilt. While the overall design of overlapping circles is similar, Pickle Dish is less often seen because it so much more difficult to execute. This quilt is especially strong in graphic impact because of the use of solid red and white fabrics. It measures 60" x 72"; very good condition. It is quilted with 3/4 inch squares and diagonal lines in the border. Ohio origin; made circa 1900.
