Postage Stamp Straight Furrows Quilt Top: Circa 1880; Pennsylvania

This Postage Stamp quilt top has over 14,296 pieces. Each square is slightly over half an inch to a side. The maker further added to her design with an elongated triangle border. It is entirely hand pieced. Colors of the many prints are laid out to create a diagonal line of color making for a Straight Furrows pattern.
The top is in excellent condition. Measurements are 70" x 80". Pennsylvania origin; made 1880's.
