Delicate Sampler quilt in an unusual Bars setting. Each diamond shaped block has an embroidered name and image, most of which are floral. In the center is embroidered "Friendshop Quilt Anna E. Herr 1922", Among the other blocks are additional Herr names as well as Denlinger; Brubaker; Greider; Landis and Metzler. These are ty[ica;;y Mennonite names from Lancaster County. The quilt is in mint, unwashed condition. It measures 62" x 71".
