Splashy Spiderweb quilt pattern with Hourglasses in between the primary blocks. The quilt is very well designed with careful placement of fabrics to heighten the dramatic effects. The three borders repeat prints used within the quilt. It is from York County, Pennsylvania; made circa 1890. The front is a variety of printed cottons with a plain muslin backing. Measurements are 76" x 78".
