This pulsating starburst quilt is all the more amazing because it is what is known as a "Charm Quilt," which means no fabric is repeated. Many are similar but when closely examined, it is evident that they are not the same. The maker chose a wonderful group of fabrics including several dogs; birds and cats as well as George Washington. Several show apples but when different parts of the same print are used, makers seem to consider them eligible to be charms.
Made in Pennsylvania a the time of the centennial when the fashion for charm quilts was at its height. Measurements are 77" x 88".
