Bold would be an understatement to describe this exceptional Starburst quilt. The fabrics, particularly the repeated use of yellow , make for a pattern that literally seems to be bursting. It is made with a a beautiful selection of fabrics that highlight the design. The large size also contributes to the drama of the quilt.
The quilt is in excellent, probably unwashed condition. Made circa 1880; Pennsylvania origin. Measurements are 89 inches square.
