Offered is a classic Straight Furrows Log Cabin pattern. It has the additional feature of a diagonal stripe border that finely echoes the diagonal light and dark of the primary pattern. The center of each block is done with various prints of flowers and leaves, an unusual feature.
The quilt is made of a combination of wool and cotton with a green calico back. Measurements are 80" x 84". Pennsylvania origin; made 1880's. Condition is excellent.
